The architecture of Apple Intelligence is almost exactly the same as the in-vehicle scheme I thought about three years ago. It is also the only feasible way to achieve mobile intelligence, whether it is mobile phones, smart home devices or cars.Have to say that only on the platform that dares to innovate can there be a chance to turn ideas into reality. Apple is ahead again. The same way of thinking can subvert the current in-vehicle HMI and the auxiliary decision-making of autonomous driving. #AppleIntelligence #AI

Marcom Manager at PowerON - an OPG Company | Electrifying Life & Transportation in One Generation for a More Sustainable Future
Fully #autonomousvehicles remain a pipe dream for now. For some reason, everyone was enamored by the news of #Apple cancelling their EV plan. Apple never planned to run their own factory; they visited several contract manufacturers like Magna International for exploratory talks. However, as the reality of developing full autonomous vehicle (AV) technology sets in, the prospects of having that for the Apple car can be summed up by this classic game cover. For full AV to happen, it will need a fundamental breakthrough in computing and AI processing, paired with sensor integration that mimics how the human brain deals with the edge cases that occur all the time on the road. We are very far from that. Unlike AI of whatever tech we are using in cars, the human brain is exceptionally good at generalizing from very limited data and adapting to new situations on the fly. When confronted with edge cases, the brain uses a mix of past experience, intuition, and reasoning to navigate the situation, often learning from it in real-time. We are very far away from that. Humankind don't even have the power generating capacity to support a supercomputer that can mimic how the brain works. Just for a reference, the human brain consumes about 20W of power.

Imagine if your internet was faster than it has ever been, allowing you to download movies and songs in seconds or play online games flawlessly without any lag. That's exactly what 5G offers us. This up and coming technology is totally set to revolutionize the industry. So, what exactly is 5G? It is the latest generation of wireless technology. It promises faster internet speeds, quicker downloads, and better connectivity for things like smartphones, smart homes, and autonomous vehicles. Now, if we talk about gamers. 5G is the best possible answer to all the frustrating lags and delays that these gamers have previously faced while playing or competing in online games. In the world of telecommunication, 5G will simply makes one's life easier as it allows faster downloads and clearer video calls. In general, it will enhance communication, making it more smoother and more efficient. Besides this, it also gives rise to autonomous vehicles, which are essentially self-driving cars capable of sensing their environment and navigating without any human participation in the process. Autonomous vehicles have the potential to modernize transportation by improving traffic flow and consequently preventing accidents, thus making our roads safer. Lastly, we can also talk about the development of smart cities. In simple terms, these cities can connect things like traffic lights, buses, and even streetlights to make them smarter. This means they can communicate and work together to make the city run more smoothly. To summarize, 5G is not just another update, it's a game-changer for industries such as gaming, telecommunication, autonomous vehicles and smart cities. For now, we can simply wait for the inevitable rise of 5G in the coming days.

Autonomous Aerial Vehicles Controlled by Smartphones: An Easy #Innovation #StartupIdea #Smartphones are multipurpose computational devices, usually for less than $500. They can control different engines, from manufacturing to aerial and even space vehicles. The autonomous flying vehicle technology, presented by the University of Pennsylvania researchers, is optimised for that purpose. Their flying robots only contain the hardware optimised for smartphone connection to use its existing cameras, inertial measurement unit, and processor to determine the position and send commands to the aerial vehicle. Therefore, the robot proceeds with all commands and sensing without the need for any equipment or tools other than a smartphone. Do you think it’s a good idea for you to deploy smartphones as a control tool? Taken it can save you thousands of dollars, needed for sensing and computing equipment, it certainly is. It’s no reason to limit by working with aerial vehicles once you know how the technology works. Prepare the system of sensors and software, build the hardware, and plug in the phone—and you’re ready. It can be an assembly line controller, a tool to investigate natural resources, a satellite, or anything else. And it’ll be powered by the smartphone's sensing and computing power. At #Atlantix, we provide you with everything to turn your concepts into profitable projects. From customer strategy and #business plan to investment search and marketing. The AI True Killer App It looks like AI technology will be for autonomous cars what computing was for mobile telephony in the early 80s. Back then, computing power was the missing link that merged two older technologies—radio and telephony—into the cellular revolution, transforming communication forever. In the early 1980s, the development of cellular networks allowed mobile phones to break free from the constraints of fixed locations. This convergence of computing and telecommunications sparked a revolution, with the number of global mobile subscribers skyrocketing from 12 million in 1990 to over 5 billion today. The integration of digital technology with telephony was the catalyst that enabled this explosive growth. Today, AI might be the missing link needed to merge electric vehicles (EV) and sensor technology, paving the way for the autonomous mobility era. Just as mobile telephony evolved from basic voice calls to sophisticated smartphones, AI has the potential to transform autonomous vehicles from a concept into a reality that impacts every aspect of our lives and economy. Autonomous vehicles, powered by AI, are expected to revolutionize transportation, reducing accidents caused by human error, optimizing traffic flow, and decreasing emissions. This transformation is set to create a ripple effect across various sectors, much like how mobile phones reshaped industries from telecommunications to banking and retail (Ericsson) (All About Circuits). The potential economic impact is enormous. Autonomous vehicles could contribute up to $7 trillion to the global economy by 2050 through increased productivity, reduced transportation costs, and new business models (MIT Press). This shift will change how we travel and live and work, making the world more connected and efficient. #AI #AutonomousVehicles #Innovation #FutureTech #Economy
