Way to go, Lost Lake team! Our 24-person crew competed in the Lost Lake Run, a major fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As a sponsor each year, our team raises funds to run and hike 16 miles through beautiful terrain near Seward, Alaska. Post-race, staff gathered for a campout with a BBQ, games, a bonfire, and fire-side music. What a fantastic day supporting such an important cause! @cf_foundation
Such a wonderful fundraising event - it makes me happy Coffman supports this. Had such a great time with all the Coffman employees and families that attended!
We can all help other people.
"When you feel like you've got nothing...
And if I am honest, we didn't think we needed support, probably my stubbornness, but we all need support in those difficult times.
We can all help other people."
Transitions can made or break us. While a change is an external event or situation, a transition is the internal psychological process that we are going through as we are navigating through this change.
You might think "I've got this!" yet remember you don't have to "do it all" alone. Asking and accepting support is part of you ensuring you will make it through. And, most of the time, it's not just you who is affected by the change. There's your family, spouse, kids, parents, siblings, your friends, your community members.
We can all help other people. Small ways can make a big impact.
Thanks Sam Teale for making this video.

The saddest video we’ve ever made.
Magic for Yorkshire Children's Charity, they raised 1 million pounds on Saturday night. 1 million.
Take a watch of this and see how they help incredible families.
So blessed this is our job♥️

Overview of Modular Structures for the "Good Samaritan" Charitable Foundation.
We have constructed two headquarters buildings and a cafe, providing a comfortable working space for volunteers. The goal was to create a cozy and convenient environment for receiving people at the humanitarian headquarters. Watch the video overview to see how we successfully tackled this task.
Well, that was fun..!
I decided to test an upcoming activation concept for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana by running a mini version myself.
I’m happy to reconfirm that peer-to-peer fundraising is alive and well! 🎉 And no… it does not need to be tied to an event or special occasion.
In a little over 24 hours, I exceeded my goal - raising $1,500+ from 24 donors.
Here's what worked:
✅ Great Tech: A seamless and straightforward platform and donation process thanks to my BFF Fundraise Up.
✅ Individual Donor Recognition: Every single contribution was celebrated - personally and publicly!
✅ Regular Updates: I kept the momentum going with live progress shares.
✅ Personalization & Storytelling: Every message came straight from me, with personal anecdotes wherever possible.
✅ Mission Tie-In: I made it clear why donations were so impactful at this specific moment in time.
✅ Multichannel Communication: I reached out to my community through texts, social media, and email.
What did I miss? Anything you’d add to ensure the official launch of this campaign is a success?

We made it! The first day of Spring 🌸 As the days get warmer, the need for support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana grows. Summer is our busiest time of year as many families use the break to travel for treatments and surgeries.
Mike McDonald and I have an exciting summer ahead welcoming another McDonald boy to our fam! 💙 As you look forward to relaxing days and family vacations, please don't forget those families who will be spending their summer in hospital rooms.
These next few weeks are a critical time to rally the resources needed to help RMHC-CNI be fully prepared to support these families. I've set up a personal fundraiser to pay it forward and ensure we are able to provide a home away from home for everyone who needs it.
Help me reach my goal:
10 minutes in to what was perhaps the longest, hardest journey of their lives, the team were absolutely powering away on the oars at 4.3 knots! 🏎️
•
They didn't see 4.3 knots very often on their row - they also didn't see such good weather very often! 😬
•
In the video we can see Fuerteventura in the background. The team headed down the east coast of this island, unlike the year before when the teams all headed down the west side of the island. This is a decision that is largely made for the teams by the weather. 🌬️
•
One thing that didn't change throughout the race, was the team being absolutely on fire(!) - they were incredible from start to finish, in what was one of the toughest Atlantic seasons, weather-wise, in recent memory. 🌊
•
One of the reasons for sharing some of these insights is to remind everyone that the team are still raising money for Get A-Head Charitable Trust and Meningitis Now - if you enjoyed following the team and didn't have a chance to donat - now is the time! Swim 1: 1,500m done! Close to $1,800 raised!
Update: $1,500 raised thus far with the Starlight Foundation total sitting at just over AUD 1m. Amazing. Swimming starts tomorrow…..
I very rarely do this on this platform - but it’s for a really important cause. I’m raising money in support of the Starlight Foundation who do amazing work in support of families with children affected by cancer. I’ll be racking up km in the pool and would greatly appreciate your support. Cheers.
As the end of the year looms large, will you be giving to charities?
Here are the top reasons people give:
Foster a sense of purpose.
Cash in on tax advantages.
Get connected with your community.
Build a charitable giving legacy.
Why do you give?
Heart on Main Street is raising money to help retailers impacted by recent storms throughout the US. In the last two weeks, deadly tornados have affected entire communities and destroyed locally-owned businesses in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa and Texas.
This year alone, already hundreds of
locally-owned independent retail stores have become victims of natural
disasters. These unexpected disasters have affected retailers in every part of
the country. While businesses are insured, there is often a gap between the
cost of recovery and what they are paid out. This leaves retailers on the hook
for thousands of dollars if they want to re-open their store and remain a part
of the community.
Independent retailers are huge drivers of the local economy and helping these retailers recover brings hope back to these affected communities. They bring a sense of normalcy to areas that have lost so much.
We would love to help as many retailers
and communities as possible, so, if you are able, please consider making a
donation to Heart on Main Street, and help these communities recover.

Did you know? Even a small donation can make a big difference in the lives of those impacted by the tornadoes. Here at Heart on Main Street, we believe in the power of community.
Join us in supporting the recovery efforts in Oklahoma and Nebraska. Together, we can show the strength and compassion of our retail community.
