Christie's kicked off the its fall season in New York this week. The art auction house also recently expanding into Asia, opening its Hong Kong flagship in September. "We had sales 10 days ago in Hong Kong that were very strong, above our expectations. We have upcoming sales in luxury also in Hong Kong in a few weeks and we hope the stimulus in China will help," said CEO Guillaume Cerutti.

This morning's jobless claims were slightly above estimates. The report comes as Wall Street prepares for tomorrow's September jobs report. Claudia Sahm, New Century Advisors, LLC chief economist and former economist at the Federal Reserve joined the show to discuss her expectations for the jobs report, the current state of the labor market and the possibility of an impact from Hurricane Helene and the ports labor strike. 

NVIDIA and Accenture announced they are expanding their partnership to help companies adopt AI. It involves creating an Nvidia Business Group within Accenture and training 30,000 employees on Nvidia's AI tools.
