It's time for the 3rd part of our series on ClickHouse import patterns. Today, we learn about the Null Table Engine, which ignores any data it receives. It sounds a bit weird at first, but once you hook up materialized views, things get pretty fun!

Check out how Goast auto-fixes issues from the SWE-Bench dataset!! 📽 In the second installment of our demo series, Cameron chooses to fix a random exception from the SWE-Bench dataset. Given only the stack trace, Goast is able to generate a solution that passes ALL the tests in the FIRST TRY. No iteration needed! Stop wasting time dealing with issues from you error log. Book a demo with us and you'll be breezing through errors in seconds! Seriously. Book a demo here: https://lnkd.in/eTe_e56v

Did you know that Clickhouse can store and query vectors? 🚀 Linear scan We wanted to see how well it would do querying vectors without using any indexes. Verdict: not too bad! 📚 The dataset We used Qdrant's awesome Wikipedia dataset which contains 1 million Wikipedia entries and associated 1536 dimension embeddings. 🧩 Aggregating data We used the new arrayShingles function to extract common phrases for the articles returned by the vector search.

Array functions in ClickHouse are so much fun that we had to make another video showing off a few more functions. In this video, we analyze Mark's Strava running data 🏃♂️ with help from the following functions: 🟡 arrayDifference to compute the difference in pace between splits. 🟡 arrayMap to convert the pace differentials into colored bars. 🟡 arrayStringConcat to convert the colored bars from an array into a string. What's your favorite array function? What should we cover next? 🤔

Array Map and Filter methods The array map method is used to traverse the array, perform some functions or changes, and return a new array without changing the original. The array filter method will return the values which satisfy the given condition inside the array filter method. /*---Array Map and Filter Methods---*/ /*-----Array Map Method-----*/ const arr:string[] = ["Mango","Apple","Banana","Kiwi"]; const fruit:string[] = arr.map((curValue:string)=>{ return curValue.toUpperCase(); }) console.table(fruit); /*----Array Filter Methods----*/ const filteredFruit:string[] = arr.filter((curValue)=>{ return curValue!=="Mango" }) console.table(filteredFruit); #day12 #40daysofTS

3moLong live Blackhole/null table engines! It was great with Mysql having black hole to catch data falling thru the binlog. Looks like the same idea.
