#Terraform 1.8 is now generally available for download and immediate use in Terraform Cloud. The release introduces two new features aimed at enhancing the extensibility and flexibility of Terraform: provider-defined functions and refactoring capabilities spanning resource types.

Networking in AWS is based on Virtual Private Cloud (VPC’s). There are many cases where you can have components of your bigger system in separate VPC’s or when using multiple accounts or working with other account owners there will definitely be more than one VPC involved. You can link up these VPCs using what is called VPC Peering and AWS will route traffic between them based on routing rules you setup. This article from Gokul Raj describes VPC peering in detail and provides a hands on example of setting it up.
