Clever Care Health Plan participated in the APG Spring Conference in 2024. Our President, Richard Greene, and the Network Management team, including Peter Winston, SVP, General Manager, Jayden Vu and Catherine Dy Sanchez, Directors of Network Management, discussed ways to enhance the quality and value of healthcare for patients in our communities. They also engaged with current and prospective IPAs, MSOs, hospitals, and ancillary vendors to explore growth opportunities and potential agreements. The team remained informed about the latest industry trends, significant changes, and best practices shared by industry experts. This event served as an excellent platform for Clever Care to present our plan and expand our connections within the industry.

“The shift from a volume-driven model to one centered on value is not just a trend but a necessity for healthcare systems globally," says Dr. Walid Zaher, CEO of Carexso. In the midst of a transformative era in global healthcare, the momentum behind Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) adoption has gained remarkable momentum. This shift in healthcare delivery transcends regional boundaries, evolving into a global phenomenon. At its core is the acknowledgment that healthcare's primary focus should be on delivering value to patients. This entails a profound emphasis on quality over quantity, prioritizing outcomes that resonate most with individuals. Let’s talk about the trends and innovations shaping VBHC program sector at Carexso - https://lnkd.in/d-Mqi93f Walid Abbas Zaher MD, PhD #HealthcareTransformation #ValueBasedCare #ForbesMiddleEast #Carexso

The hospital-at-home concept is rather interesting. I am not quite ready to share my thoughts on it. But it's important to think about the current hospital model before trying to take the inpatient to the patient. How necessary are most hospitalizations? How impactful is the average inpatient stay? How much of it is financially driven? What is the impact on caregivers? Who will be sent to the patient's home? What conditions will be covered? How will the patient's health literacy impact their outcomes? How will quality metrics be measured? What will the risk be to clinicians?
2024 is a critical year for Hospital at Home... I'm looking forward to speaking at the Hospital @ Home Regulatory and Policy Summit on April 16-17, 2024 in Washington, DC. This event will bring together federal, state, administration, and health system stakeholders to work toward long-term model viability! Be sure to check out the summit’s agenda and the distinguished lineup of industry leaders, policymakers, and passionate advocates coming together in this collective effort for HaH’s future success!
