Mexico, on the other hand, was an early mover in establishing Open Banking regulations. These figures, combined with the participation of Latin American regulators in Rio de Janeiro, further solidify the growing interest in Open Finance across the region. Inflation remained unchanged in August with some lingering signs of persistent price pressures as the Bank of England considers its next move on interest rates. New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed that inflation came in at 2.2 per cent in August, unchanged from July and in line with economists’ expectations. However, core inflation, which strips out more volatile components like food and energy, rose back up to 3.6 per cent. This was in line with expectations but up from 3.3 per cent in July. Services inflation, which is seen as a good gauge of inflationary dynamics in the domestic economy, climbed to 5.6 per cent, up from 5.2 per cent the month before. ✍️ Christopher Dorrell Read the full story here 👇 https://lnkd.in/dzzYKgSz

However, Sorrell, founder of advertising giant WPP and now chairman of S4 Capital, told City A.M.: “What we need is stability and a business environment that fosters investment and drives productivity. Experiments with the working week or working hours don’t help,” he said. ✍️ Jess Jones Continue reading 👇 https://lnkd.in/e-B4jSkC
