8 Canada Square – currently the headquarters of HSBC – will be transformed into a new-look, re-imagined multi-use skyscraper once the bank leaves its Canary Wharf headquarters. The global bank is moving to the Square Mile in 2027 as part of a company refresh. But it’s windy, cold and rains a lot brrrr, people won’t stay unless they don’t have a choice. Plus, all the supply in housing will put pressure on existing prices. Plus coupled with fewer people being interested in buying in the U.K. plus service charge scandals, leasehold vs freehold issues etc

Looks like an opportunity for a major M & E contractor in the UK. I hope it doesn’t go abroad because they’ll only sub contract it out 🤔
