Network Analysis is one of the most important analyses provided by the GIS software environment, as this type of analysis can be applied to solve problems in our daily lives and improve decisions and project planning - A simple idea about network analysis can be taken through a simple example that most people do in their daily lives: -- ""When you are, for example, in a city and do not know the way to get from one point to another, you will often use your mobile phone through the Google Maps application, for example - as the application helps you get from your current location to the destination that you specify, the idea of finding the path between the two points is based primarily on the network analysis process #gis #network Analysis

Executive roles are demanding, with competing challenges. GIS may only hit the radar when an issue arises, which, for critical infrastructure, is problematic. Complex ArcGIS systems require support. But what does support look like? Dedicated processes, internal training, added capability or a more streamlined solution such as outsourcing management and hosting? Are there gaps in your GIS management? 🚀 #GIS #InfrastructureSupport #BusinessInsights

🗺️ Most GIS professionals are drawn to maps, data, and the stories they tell. But let's face it, not many are thrilled about security patches and software upgrades. The blurred lines between IT and GIS roles can lead to 'ownership' issues with GIS teams often carrying the bulk of application management. The result? Disengaged staff, increased security risk, and capability gaps. This challenge can persist for years, often unknown to management until a critical issue arises. If GIS application management is stuck between IT and GIS teams, solutions range from team training to hiring or a managed services solution. Where does GIS management sit in your organisation? 🌐 #GIS #ITChallenges #ManagedServices
