As wildfires 🌳🔥🌳 continue to devastate communities and ecosystems, it's imperative that we come together to address this pressing issue. While early detection and monitoring from space 🛰️ are invaluable tools, they're just pieces of a much larger puzzle. 🔥🌍 Fuel and landscape management stand out as crucial components in preventing wildfires from spiraling out of control. By strategically managing fuel, we can significantly reduce the risk of catastrophic fires. 🌲🏞️ But let's not forget the human element. The knowledge and expertise of wildfire managers, along with the courage and dedication of those on the front lines, are indispensable. Their tireless efforts save lives, protect property, and preserve our precious natural landscapes. 🙌👩🚒 In the battle against wildfires, information is power. By arming ourselves with the right knowledge and tools, we can work towards keeping both natural wildfires and prescribed burns contained and under control. 📊🛠️ Let's continue to support and empower those who are committed to safeguarding our communities and planet. Together, we can make a difference. WE ARE ORORATECH and ready to serve 🛰️📡🌳🔥 #WildfirePrevention #CommunityStrong 🌟🌿

It's been a long-haul designing multiple models, sweating, testing & redesigning and testing and more sweat for what many are calling a market transforming solution for wildfire control. Last year, RIC was honoured to collaborate in the creation of a Community Wildfire Resilience Scorecard. Designed for use by local governments, municipalities, community groups, businesses, and residents, the tool helps to bring together diverse stakeholders around wildfire resilience. The scorecard enables your community to methodically assess its wildfire preparedness. By identifying vulnerabilities, you can create data-driven action plans to boost wildfire safety, drive collaboration, and make your community more resilient. The scorecard was developed collaboratively by the UNDRR ARISE-US Global Network, CrowdDoing and wildfire experts.
