This month at #PlanetMainframe we’re delving into the world of observability and resiliency. Far from being buzzwords, the complex nature of modern IT environments makes this a theme worth a lot of spilled ink. If you’re new to the topic of observability or feel the need of a refresher, you might want to wander over to a recent article: ”The importance of Observability in Modern IT Environment” https://hubs.ly/Q02B26g20 and give it a quick read. “We don’t only want to give the situation for the present and the past. We also want to give solutions to the future.” ✍ These are the insights shared by Andrea Montieri of Latitudo 40. Their work is all about obtaining satellite images, developing a platform where they can analyse the data from them, and showing data clearly and simply. Aaaaand, new Learning Bayesian Statistics episode is out! We dive deep into #BayesianExperimentalDesign this week, with the great Desi R. Ivanova -- hope you'll enjoy ;)
📢 Episode 117 is live! 🎧https://lnkd.in/gyV7u3VY 😎This time, we’re diving into Bayesian experimental design with Alexandre Andorra and Desi R. Ivanova. It’s all about how to make smarter decisions!. Tune in for some great insights! 👀 Takeaways: 🔍 Experiment design is about gathering the right data in the best way. 📊 The goal? Maximize information. ❓ The most effective experiments reduce uncertainty. 💻 But… computational challenges can make it tough to apply in real life. ⚡ Amortized Bayesian inference helps speed things up. 🔄 Adaptive experiments are a lot more complex than static ones. #LearningBayesianStatistics #Bayesian #ExperimentalDesign

BuenoSpa puts you in🚧🛟☔️ 🔱🌋🌴🌀🌈 not your budget. Say ‘YA’ to BuenoSpa. Secrets to buying factory direct. ➕ How to get your hot tub installed, correctly. (888) TO-BUENO ext: 4 “Don’t say no; say Bueno!"
The frying pan is the CRM. Turning the pan is sending the emails. Sure, you should turn the pan every once in a while but you won’t deliver the perfect product or proper service this way. The phone is the spatula. Pick it up and start using it to get the outcome you want, a happy new customer. Mix it up with you prospects by using texts to back up the phone calls. There are two ways to close the sale. 1) Serve the perfect dish with all the needed accessories and walk away. THIS IS THE SOCIAL SELLING WAY. When you come back and see the plate (cart) is empty you have a new customer. You are more likely to get a nice tip (review) with this selling approach. OR 2) Attempt to force feed, by spoon feeding, the prospect. If they do open up and take it all in, you are successful at closing the sale. THIS IS THE TRADITIONAL SELLING METHOD. If you use it, there will be the likelihood that it was too quick and they cannnot keep it all down and end up cancelling the sale. This is not a pretty sight. In the video below, the sales trainer is coaxing (instead of coaching) the new salesperson while simultaneously meeting the needs of the company by answering upper management’s call. She might do a better job if she gave the task at hand 100% of her undivided attention. She could put the phone down and pick up her own pan and work side by side her salesperson. Theoretically, they could both deliver twice as many customers, although the salesperson’s clientele may not close as often. With a team of 7 COOKS she works constantly to help them along. Her top chef uses no measuring utensils, always managing to use the right sprinkle of this, dash of that, etc. and dishes out dream patrons, day and night. The stockholders, who provide all of her tangible resources, would love her to have a team of 7 TOP CHEFS!
