Today I'm starting a series of posts on why life is harder than it needs to be for most people, and what to do about it. The answer has a lot to do with what I have come to call #superhabits.
Approaching a big birthday next year, reflecting on how modern life has changed over the years. One reflection is around expectations, what do I expect of myself and others, in the family, workplace, friendships, community etc. I note the expectations of my parents generation (and mine) are vastly different to those who are beginning their working lives. One thing I think I can learn from the younger generation is to not just accept what’s on offer but to ask for what’s needed or wanted. It’s certainly worth a try! I’d be interested to hear reflections from others, both sides. What can we learn from each other? #stilllearning #generations

In 2020, I embarked on a transformative journey, redefining what truly matters. Family took precedence, and remote work became the bridge to a world of invaluable moments. After five days of learning, here’s my summary: 1️⃣ Know your audience 2️⃣ Diversity your connections – don’t be afraid to make connections with people you don’t know, and send a message with the request 3️⃣ Send a thanks when someone accepts your request or connects with you 4️⃣ Post, with an interesting and appropriate image if possible 5️⃣ Be ready to react, comment and re-post when you have something to add And, finally.
