It was great to be in person for #ASCO2024 and present our work funded by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We highlighted the substantial financial burden for working-aged adults after a cancer diagnosis. Did you know that the median out-of-pocket costs for PRIVATELY INSURED individuals is more than $500 per month in the six months after diagnosis, with the burden highest for those with lymphoma (spending almost $4,000 over that time)? Also, 4.6% of people experienced out-of-pocket costs >$9,000 in the six months after diagnosis!
