Thank you @NYDFS for adopting state regulatory guidance to protect consumers from unfair or unlawful discrimination by insurers using artificial intelligence!! We need clear rules of the road to ensure consumers are treated fairly during underwriting & pricing. Consumer Reports hopes other states will adopt similar guidance to guide industry use of external data systems, AI systems and predictive models.
