Greatness cannot be attained by talent alone. Discipline is the key from moving from good to great. Greatness is achieved by getting rid of unhealthy habits. Greatness is a result of consistency, effort and the winning mentality that discipline brings. #Greatness #Discipline #Habits #Winning

Helping Professionals Build Their Network to Generate Business | Business Development Consultant | Corporate Board Member | Adjunct Professor
Monday motivation. As we begin another NFL season (my favorite sport), I must repost Jerome Bettis's words of wisdom. Whether you are trying to be the best athlete or the best business generator, we can all learn from his words. Have a great week! #youcandoit #businessdevelopmetn
Greatness isn't something that just happens—it's earned. There are four things you need for greatness: 1️⃣the ability to sacrifice 2️⃣the ability to endure pain whether it's physical or mental 3️⃣the ability to understand that you're going to fail because that makes you a better person. 4️⃣And finally, loving what you're doing. As I reflect on my journey—from the streets of Detroit to the gridiron in Pittsburgh—these four principles have been my guiding light. They've shaped who I am, not just as an athlete, but as a person striving to make a difference on and off the field. Sacrifice means putting in the work when no one's watching. Endurance is pushing through the hard times when your body or mind wants to quit. Failure is a necessary teacher—every setback brings you closer to success. And love—it's the passion that fuels every step of the journey. Whatever your path, remember these principles. They will help you overcome challenges, learn from every experience, and ultimately achieve the greatness within you. #Greatness #Leadership #Sacrifice #Endurance #Success

Stay as best you can relentlessly in positive thoughts. How do you do this when it looks like 💩is happening out of your control? Well, it is simpler said than done for most of us, but it’s doable. First thing is remember to be patient and forgiving towards yourself as you apply the following. When unsettling situations happen try to find the positive side of the situation. Believe it or not there’s a positive thing in every situation the problem usually lies within our beliefs systems, traditions and social systems. For instance, we are taught and told how to look at death instead of seeking out our own beliefs about it. Belief system may have told us we must be sad 😞 and or upset 😠 about it so what do we express? Sadness, fear, depression, etc. There are some cultures that celebrate death most likely because they see it as their love one is actually in a better place. Or, loosing your home, job or relationship is considered along the same line as death. It’s okay to weep about these things but not to wallow there. Instead comfort yourself with words like, “Yeah, this experience hurts but it’s also giving me an opportunity to obtain something better.” I’ve learned that experiences happen in our lives for many different reasons but staying with the low vibration too long will not improve our chances of rising above. Choosing to live in the positive doesn’t mean not facing the negatives or unfortunate experiences. What choosing outcomes with positive thoughts means is you choosing to show up for yourself as best you can by giving yourself permission to reach for the thoughts that help improve your current low vibration and place you in a better mood and a better position to help you to keep moving forward. Keep in mind, “Everything always works out.” But not if you’re not open for allowing it 🦋

📢 I help women in their 40s silence the constant food noise, break free from the lies of the diet industry, and reconnect with their bodies to create lasting change—without diets, guilt, or obsessive exercise.
You know that feeling when you’re just totally locked in on your goal or objective? It’s like, when you think about it, you get this rush of excitement. Even though it hasn’t happened yet, you can already see it, you can feel it… because you know deep down, you’ve got this. It just feels good, right? Take someone like Simone Biles. I mean, (I’m kinda obsessed with her these days). 🤩🤩🤩 Did she wake up one day and start winning medals?🎖️ No! She lived and breathed her goals, every single day. She believed it was possible, even when it seemed like a long shot. And it’s not just her. ✅ Edison tried 10.000 times before getting the lightbulb right! ✅ And me? ➡️ It took me 20 years ➡️ to crack the code ➡️ on no-diet weight loss ➡️ and finally build ➡️ the body I’ve always wanted. See, the magic starts when that goal feels good… when it’s so obvious, so obsessive, that NOTHING CAN STOP YOU. That’s when things start to click. Your healthiest, best self? 👏👏 It’s just one decision away. And yeah… ➡️ it’s not gonna be easy. ➡️ It’s gonna take time. ➡️ It’s gonna take effort to change those thoughts and habits you’ve had forever. ➡️ And you will not see results in the first week, maybe not even after a month. But if you keep at it, if you stay focused and consistent, it’s gonna happen. 🎖️🎖️🎖️ So just keep moving like everything’s gonna work out… because it is.
