🌍 Empowering communities & transforming lives 🌍 I’m thrilled to share an update on an initiative run by partners of the World Food Programme #Zimbabwe Country Office that significantly impacts urban communities. By combining urban cash assistance programme with TOOSE, a gender transformative approach borne out of a joint initiative of Ecorys, Social Development Direct, and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, we’re seeing positive preliminary findings 📊: 🥣 Decreased household-level food insecurity, 💥 Lowered instances of intimate partner violence. 📉 Reduced household stresses, and 👨👩👧👦 Improved household cohesion and communication This innovative multi-partner approach is not only providing immediate relief but also fostering long-term positive change.
