REALISING THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY FOR BATTERIES A SINGAPORE – GERMANY JOINT SEMINAR With the increasing focus on global decarbonization, electric vehicle adoption is growing rapidly. It's essential to recognize that the production of electric vehicles, especially the manufacturing of batteries, can have substantial potential environmental impacts. Therefore, the concept of a Circular Economy is emerging as a promising solution to mitigate these environmental effects and e.g. decrease greenhouse gas emissions in battery production. The seminar provided valuable insights and highlighted numerous collaboration opportunities for both Singapore and Germany, ultimately contributing to the implementation of a circular economy.
