The 3 character traits you need to hire for a successful team 🔎 Integrity, Intelligence, and Energy (IIE). No particular order. Why them? Think about it: ❌ Integrity = ✅ Trust ❌ Intelligence = ✅ Problem-solving ❌ Energy = ✅ Drive Integrity: People with integrity are honest, open and upfront. They do the right thing even when nobody's watching. Trust forms the foundation of any relationship, including the employer-employee relationship. Intelligence: Smart people bring value to your company. They solve problems and come up with new ideas. They can spot opportunities before anyone else. Hire for intelligence and your team will be more productive. Energy: High-energy people get stuff done. They bring enthusiasm, drive, and motivation to the workplace. They're the people who walk in the door with a smile on their face, ready to tackle whatever the day throws their way. Together, the IIE traits form the foundation of exceptional teams. Should hiring just be about EXPERIENCE? Or are these traits BETTER … ... When building a team, it's tempting to focus on what someone has done before. But the truth is, experience isn't everything. The right traits can make all the difference in success and growth. Here are the key qualities to look for: 1. 💡 Adaptability – In a fast-changing world, the ability to pivot and learn on the fly is crucial. Hire people who are comfortable stepping into the unknown. 2. 🌱 Growth Mindset – Look for those who believe they can always learn and improve. They're not afraid of challenges—they welcome them! 3. 🔑 Curiosity – The best employees ask questions and are always eager to explore new ways of doing things. 4. 💪 Resilience – Setbacks happen, but it’s those who get back up and push forward who make the biggest impact. 5. 🤝 Collaboration – The ability to work well with others, listen, and build on ideas is often more valuable than specific past job titles. Skills can be taught. Traits like these are what fuel long-term success. Let’s focus on hiring people with the mindset and traits that align with our vision—not just their resume. 🌟 Hire for Attitude and Passion 🌟 When building a team, it's crucial to remember that skills can be taught, but attitude and passion are intrinsic qualities that drive success. While technical expertise is undoubtedly important, it's the right attitude and unwavering passion that truly set individuals apart. Attitude is the foundation upon which everything else is built. It encompasses positivity, resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. A person with the right attitude approaches challenges with a can-do mindset, sees setbacks as opportunities for growth, and thrives in adversity. Passion, on the other hand, fuels motivation, creativity, and innovation. It's the driving force behind exceptional performance and extraordinary achievements. When someone is passionate about their work, they go above and beyond, pouring their heart and soul into everything they do. Technical skills and qualifications are important, but they can be acquired over time with the right training and development programs. What can't be taught is the innate drive, enthusiasm, and positive outlook that define a person's attitude and passion. So, when you're hiring for your team, look beyond the resume and qualifications. Seek out candidates who embody the right attitude and demonstrate genuine passion for their work. With the right people on board, equipped with the necessary skills, and fueled by passion, there's no limit to what you can achieve together. 💼🚀 #HireForAttitude #PassionOverSkills #TeamBuildingSuccess

Hiring tip: No one's a perfect fit. Give people a chance, and watch them grow. It's not about finding the 100% match. It's about creating it together. Embrace potential, and you'll build a team that exceeds expectations. So, nobody is 100% fit for the job, if you give them chance , they will become your top hire.

Helping E-Commerce Brands Profit and Scale 🛠️ Full-Funnel E-Commerce Strategy 🛠️ Paid Media 🛠️ Web Development 🛠️ No Long-Term Agreements
Talk is cheap. At the end of the day the only thing on the scorecard is results. This starts with building a team. In the first 8 years of F+L we’ve learned a few things the hard way. We used to hire for future promise and work with people to grow. Now we hire slow and fire fast. We’re too small to develop talent, or maybe we just suck at it. We hire senior people, give them everything they need, including support and expectations, and let them work. Everything we do is project based or month-to-month. Clients need to see movement right away and results soon after. As it should be. Whether it’s our agency or our team members, We do and we grow or we go. That may sound cold but sitting around waiting for the other shoe to drop? Excruciating. Let’s all live our best lives.
