Global Health Impact: Innovations That Are Improving Health in America's Indigenous Tribal Communities | FINN Voices
"People living in indigenous tribal areas across the United States, and the rural communities around them, often face significant challenges accessing quality care. Providing a sustainable way of delivering medical training and support to health care professionals serving these areas is an ongoing issue, but some organizations have pioneered practices to bridge professional development gaps and improve patient care. One organization, Arc Health, and their Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jim Galloway, has developed novel partnerships with leading medical centers around the country to reinforce the level of care that patients in indigenous tribal areas receive. Our conversation uncovers some of the lessons and practices that Dr. Galloway and ArcHealth have employed, and how they may serve as a model for community healthcare in other parts of the world."

Evidence for Action: Indigenous-Led Solutions to Advance Health Equity and Wellbeing. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
The purpose of this call for proposals (CFP) is to support Indigenous-led systematic inquiry to enhance the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Peoples and generate approaches to improve health equity. This will be achieved by funding community-prioritized investigation, elevating and integrating Indigenous cultures and knowledge-building practices. To support a diverse range of projects tailored to different phases of development and scope, awards will be made through two tracks, as described later in this solicitation.

There are significant opportunities for Australia in this space, and continue being a world-class example on how living evidence ecosystems can bring about better health.
We call for a national research agenda to answer the 'big questions' for Living Evidence post-COVID -
- When are living models appropriate (or not) for policy?
- What are their benefits and risks?
- What Living Evidence models are scalable?
- What are Australia's research infrastructure needs?
