HOW TO CHOOSE A NANNY? 1. Define what matters the most to you in a caregiver for your child. For some parents it would be the experience and confidence, for others – being intuitive and personally involved, really loving the child under their care or being strictly professional and calm. Think about the personal qualities YOUR nanny must have. 2. Be specific about your needs and schedule – define what exactly you’d be expecting from your nanny, make sure you’ve covered all of the things that really matter to you. 3. Do not be shy to weed out the candidates who don’t quite match your requests and needs – you mut feel confident about the person you trust your child’s care to. At the same time try not to rush with rejecting a candidate based on an introduction video we provide, look into their qualifications and experience – some people may not make a great impression on video, but be a lovely person once you talk to them in person. When hiring a nanny, a trial period is crucial—think of it as a test drive. 🚗✨ It's a chance for both the family and the nanny to ensure their expectations and comfort levels align. 🏠 Stay Grounded: Avoid rushing into travel during the trial. Travel can disrupt routines and may not give a true sense of daily life with the nanny. 👶 Child Behavior: Kids often behave unpredictably away from home, which can skew your understanding of the nanny's fit with your family. 🤝 Build Trust First: Establish a strong bond and understanding of each other’s communication styles before adding the complexity of travel. 🕒 Avoid Hasty Decisions: Rush hires can lead to dissatisfaction. Take time to observe the nanny during regular routines, from chaotic mornings to bedtime. 📝 Two-Way Street: A trial is also for the nanny to gauge the fit. Encourage open communication and feedback—this is about finding the best match for everyone involved. A thoughtful trial period, focused on everyday interactions, sets the stage for a successful and harmonious nanny relationship. #nannyagency #Tips #FamilyCare #Parenting
