At the heart of this initiative lies The Ninti Way Storybook, a captivating narrative that encapsulates the essence of cultural interconnectedness and celebrates the rich tapestry of traditions that make each community unique. The story follows 'Papa the Dog' as he embarks on a journey around the Anangu Lands, visiting animal mascots in their respective communities. What sets The Ninti Way Storybook apart is the collaborative effort that went into its creation. Minister for Education, Training and Skills, Government of South Australia

It was really special to read The Ninti Way Story book while I was at Mimili Aṉangu School today. The story follows ‘Papa the Dog’ on his journey around the Anangu Lands, visiting animal mascots in their respective communities. Each of the mascots were developed with Anangu staff and families across each site to decide which animal would represent each community best. The book has been developed so that Anangu children have access to new and culturally relevant resources where they can see themselves, their culture, language and environment reflected.
