Scaling memory capacity and bandwidth through CXL…
Today at Silicon Valley’s premier Memory conference, #MemCon2024, we showcased our CXL Memory Module – DRAM (CMM-D) technology, which uses DRAM integrated with the CXL open standard interface. This facilitates efficient, low-latency connectivity between the CPU and memory expansion devices. Red Hat, a global leader in open source software solutions, successfully validated Samsung’s CMM-D devices with its enterprise software for the first time in the industry last year. Together, we will continue our collaboration through the Samsung Memory Research Center (SMRC) in developing CXL open-source and reference models, as well as partnering on a range of other storage and memory products. Thank you Gunnar Hellekson for joining us on stage today to discuss this important collaboration. Learn more about the record-breaking partnership between LINBIT and Ampere here 🤝 https://hubs.ly/Q02z2n7x0 Ampere writes: "Working with LINBIT SDS to manage storage demands, we can drive sustained peak loads into the drives. The results have been compared against the current LINBIT IOPS world record that ran and used a 12x Intel node cluster which had 2x Intel Xeon Platinum 8280L processors per Node."
