As I reflect on my career, I'm grateful for those who helped develop my leadership and team-building skills. Noticing that many junior IT professionals struggle to find direction, I've realized our industry is losing sight of mentorship's importance. Whether due to time constraints, lack of training, or fear of competition, the reasons for this decline are insufficient excuses for neglecting our up-and-coming talent. Rather than dwell on the problem, I'm taking action. This summer, I'm launching an IT professional development program for junior and mid-level professionals, embracing the responsibility of being a mentor and guide. By fostering a culture of support and growth, we can ensure the next generation of IT professionals have the technical and non technical skills they need to thrive and advance in their career.  I will become my bothers keeper.  More to come...

Have you ever found yourself waiting for the perfect opportunity? 🤔 Well, let me share a little secret with you... it doesn't actually exist! 😅 But hey, sometimes, something close enough comes along! In my own journey, I never stumbled upon the perfect opportunity. Instead, I grabbed hold of anything that even remotely resembled one. 💪 And you know what? I had absolutely no clue what I was doing at the beginning. I mean, I had to figure it out step by step along the way! 🚶♂️ I started my journey May 2022 by joining a mentorship program. Fast forward to today, and I'm the proud of to be on a team that owns 133 units in Dallas ! Its only the beginning, my goal is to close another 400 units by end of year and we already in PSA for another 100+ in San Antonio 🏘️🏨 Pretty cool, right? 😉 So here's my advice for all of you waiting for that "perfect moment" – quit thinking about it and start taking action! Don't be afraid to make mistakes, because that's how we learn and grow. 🌱 Remember, you have the power to learn, catapult yourself, and leverage your way to a higher level. But it all starts with that first step. So go out there, seize those opportunities (even the imperfect ones), and make things happen! 💥 Let's do this! 💪 #OpportunityKnocks #TakeAction #LearnAndGrow
