This deck is one of the best tools I have. I use it to coach professionals and families. To lighten an important conversation and to make it less frightening. #deathdeckfan
We love hearing from professionals who are using The E•O•L Deck! “I’ve been sharing the deck with many of my peers. I’m a big believer in having conversations about death where all participate and share; not just the person in their final chapter. This deck is a wonderful tool for opening up conversations where important information can come to the surface. Perhaps, more importantly, where genuine connections are made and our understanding of one another can deepen.” - Dana Simpson, Program Coordinator, Caregiver Support and Education at VON Canada.

Supporting Our Caregivers During Back-to-School Season: As the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Caregiver Retention Coordinator at Care at Home, I know that back-to-school season can be a challenging time for our dedicated caregivers. With rising costs, extensive supply lists, and the expectation to buy extra for the classroom, the stress can add up quickly—even for our most resilient team members. I have to take a look inward and ask myself: "What are we doing to show them that they matter?" It’s essential to find ways to ease the pressure our caregivers may be feeling. By putting ourselves in their shoes, we can better understand what would truly help. It doesn’t take much—sometimes a small token of appreciation can make a big difference and show our caregivers that we genuinely care about their well-being.
