People have been comparing Race Tapes SE2 to Drive to Survive. We'll take the compliment. (Tip of the 🎩 to Box To Box Films for setting the bar) But pump the brakes: we don't actually think it’s an accurate comparison. Here's why: ✅ Race Tapes combines Docuseries storylines with YouTube aesthetics. Everyone talks about Netflix, but anyone paying attention knows that YouTube and TikTok is where creative boundaries are being pushed and where people are taking big swings. ✅✅ Race Tapes embraces the true personality of the sport. You can't simply copy and paste a format into a sport or a sport into a format. If we had approached mountain biking with the (overly?) dramatized approach of Drive to Survive, our audience would have immediately sensed the inauthenticity. ✅✅✅ We have puppets 🦖 PROTIP - RaceTapes is a show that hardcore mountain bikers AND their non riding entourage can both enjoy. Massive shout out to: Thomas Kniewasser | David Cronolly | Carol Sales at Red Bull Media House for taking a giant leap into the unknown with us! 🙌🙌🙌 Made it this far? Binge watch Race Tapes SE2 here: https://lnkd.in/g-4tYurM

For the second consecutive year, M3 EVENTS and RIS Timing are using the MYLAPS X2 Link Solution for race control at the European Fun Cup. This enables live GPS and speed tracking of all vehicles, ensuring fair racing conditions for all drivers. The next race in the series will be at Circuit Zolder this weekend. The endurance race uses X2 RaceLink Clubs in each vehicle for onboard flagging, improving reaction time, and ensuring all racers receive information simultaneously, even when the panels are out of sight. The Alert Center is used during a race to send automated warnings when there is a crash, cars stop or slow down, or if there are high speeds in the Pit Lane or during Full Course Yellow (FCY) periods. For Pit Lane and FCY speed violations, alerts show each car's average speed and duration to check for rule compliance. If needed, teams were called to Race Control to review replays and alerts, making it easy to resolve issues and give penalties quickly. #Repost @europeanfuncup #MYLAPS #X2RaceControl #ExperienceProgress #EuropeanFunCup #Racing #FairRacing #M3Events #RISTiming

Business Intelligence & Data Analytics leader. Turning data and information into actionable insights.
Last month, I took on the Cocodona 250, a 250-mile trail point to point race across Arizona, for the second time—completely solo, without a crew or pacers. With a stretch goal to beat last year's time of 101 hours and 23 minutes. This year, I crossed the finish line in 92 hours and 29 minutes, shaving nearly 9 hours off my previous time. Here are three key strategies that led to my success that are applicable beyond the realm of running: 1. Define a Clear End Goal - Goal: Beat my 2023 finish time. With a specific target in mind, I tailored my training and race plan to achieve this goal. Every decision I made was guided by whether it brought me closer to my goal, even if it was the tougher choice. 2. Use a Simple Metric to Measure Progress - Metric: Run more per week than the equivalent week last year. The simplicity and visibility of this metric kept me on track. Weekly and daily tracking allowed for adjustments as needed, and watching my progress was incredibly motivating. 3. Set Milestone Goals - Milestone Goals: Leave each aid station X hours earlier than last year. Breaking the race into smaller, manageable goals allowed me to adapt to changing conditions while maintaining forward momentum. Once a milestone was achieved, I set a new one. Sometimes it was even more difficult than the previous one. This ensured continuous progress toward the ultimate goal. These strategies kept me focused and adaptable, ensuring I was well-prepared and consistently progressing throughout the race. Curious about the full journey? Check out my detailed Cocodona 250 2024 Race Report here: https://lnkd.in/griKqk75
