I am looking forward to attending the WACUBO Annual Conference in April! This will be my first time attending this particular conference, although I have participated in their Business Management Institute (BMI) in the past. This years theme (dream/lead/inspire) is beautifully reflected in the sentence below: "This conference promises to empower you to DREAM bigger, LEAD with confidence, and INSPIRE positive change in your institution."

The America's SBDC has announced its call for papers for the 2024 Conference in Atlanta. For 45 years, America’s SBDC has hosted its annual professional development conference for its business advisors and SBDC network professionals. This national event brings together nearly 1,200 SBDC professionals and around fifty sponsors and exhibitors for learning, networking and engagement. The theme for the 2024 conference is “Digital Transformation.” Digital transformation incorporates computer-based technologies into an organization's products, processes, and strategies. Organizations undertake digital transformation to engage better and serve their workforce and customers and, thus, improve their ability to compete. About the Call for Papers Categories for submissions include many different areas to help advisers enhance their abilities to help small business owners with their businesses. In addition, there are categories to assist SBDCs with ideas on how to grow and operate their program.  You are invited to submit to this year’s conference. With the varied skill levels of our attendees, we invite you to consider submitting different presentations at multiple skill levels. During the submission process, you will be asked if the presentation is at a beginner’s or advanced level. We hope to create a well-rounded professional development experience for America’s SBDC Annual Conference attendees. They want our workshop presenters to consider how their products, resources, methodologies, strategies, or tactics can empower our SBDC network. Also consider the conference theme as you review your content and consider how the theme could later be incorporated into your presentation.
