🌟 We're all called to serve... in our own right! 🌟
At our recent Young Kings luncheon with Congressman Dusty Johnson, we left with a renewed sense of optimism about a collaborative future for our community and country.
Here are my top 3 takeaways:
1. Release and Grow: Let go of past baggage and outdated mindsets to become who you’re truly meant to be.
2. Know Yourself: Understanding who you really are helps you ignore the minority who may dislike or disagree with you. Often, their negativity is a reflection of them, not you.
3. Attack Ideas, Not People: We need to return to attacking ideas, not people. Civility may seem like a lost art, but it’s time for the silent majority to demand its return.
No matter our paths, our community and world need more individuals dedicated to making a positive impact in the areas we feel called to influence.
Let's rise to the challenge and create a better future together.

As Eric Weinstine and now MANY others have said, are saying, firstly you just can't make THIS stuff up, AND if some foreign Bad Actors wanted to infiltrate or EVEN do IT from afar as they do behind keyboards nowadays, THIS kinda shit is exactly 💯 HOW they would do it, AND indeed we can't be convinced that's not 🚫 what they are in fact doing. So, it behooves us to guard our Minds 🧠, Hearts 💕, and Souls AGAINST these Thought 💭 Viruses 🦠🦟 AND bugs 🪲🐛. So yeah, shields 🛡️ up, people. CUZ, THIS is Our Shared Self-Organizing Society and ALTHOUGH admittedly it STILL needs some work, as does any Big + Long Term Project, let's NOT 🚫 allow ourselves to be taken down FROM within. To THIS end, a very worthwhile end at that, together We simply just gotta restore the dialectical DiaLogos of Synthesis, Dialogue, Debate, Inquiry, Curiosity, Respect, and Discussion.
FIELDNOTES: Are we talking about this or continuing to brush it under the proverbial rug? Beyond the talk, what are the action steps that we are taking? And not those seasonal performative steps...the organizational, structural and systemic ones.
“Biases are the stories we make up about people before we know who they actually are.”

The upcoming U. S. presidential election is shaping up to be defined by “the culture wars” over education. In this interview with the great Hamidou Sylla (Hammi), I dive into the politics of an aspect of the culture wars - critical race theory - to discuss how we got here and the trouble that lies ahead.
