Step 1 of 15: Over the last month, we have improved the accessibility of our long-term client, International Fundraising Consultancy’s (IFCo) website – www.groupifco.com. We wrote an accessibility statement outlining IFCo’s commitment to enabling everyone to access its content regardless of ability. It included a timeframe for when we expected improvements and promised to periodically audit the site’s performance to align with evolving accessibility best practices. Steps 2 - 15 coming daily at Dominic Rutterford or Brother #accessibility #webaccessibility #accessibilitystatement

How do you tell the story of a healthcare nonprofit doing phenomenal work? Through clean code, polished design, and thoughtful storytelling. Overlap was blessed to work with Inner City Health to upgrade their website and bring their brand and story to life online. 🧑💻 In order to showcase their warmth and humanity, we started by getting a comprehensive understanding of their culture, mission, and how they interact with the community. Our solutions: ☑️ Better site navigation to make it easier for patients to obtain information ☑️ A stable backend that Inner City can manage internally moving forward ☑️ Training videos to help their team upload content easily ☑️ Custom design for the donation page ☑️ Multi-language plugins to improve communications with their Spanish-speaking communities See the full case study, including some epic results: https://ow.ly/uOOq50R1m26 #CustomerCaseStudy #NonprofitMarketing #HealthcareMarketing #DigitalMarketing #WebsiteDesign #WebsiteDevelopment

Giving community power in resource mobilization is key to sustainable funding initiatives
UPD: Watch the session here: https://lnkd.in/e4sJysgP Yesterday Robert Carr Fund for civil society networks took part in the first informal brown bag session on Participatory Grantmaking "Let Communities Decide". Olga Rychkova, Senior Program Officer at RCF: "Participatory approach works. It makes grantmaking stronger by making sure funding reflects communities’ needs and is directed where it makes the biggest impact. However, good process is required. Participatory approaches lend legitimacy and credibility, but it is important to manage conflicts of interest in a robust, transparent way. Participatory approaches also take time and this time needs to be budgeted in." Coco Jervis of Mama Cash: "How did Mama Cash become participatory? We started out transition to participatory model by taking gradual steps, in close consultation with our donors, partners and communities. We piloted new processes and persuaded our partners that it is forth the effort. At it worked! We trust that communities are experts in their realities. This is our way of challenging hierarchies. Participatory Grantmaking is all about sharing power!" The discussion was hosted by Partos, together with Aidsfonds, Mama Cash and Wilde Ganzen. Stay tuned for more webinars!
