First, SIEPS director Göran von Sydow and Political Scientist Dr. Valentin Kreilinger, set the scene for the forum in the first contribution. The forum then opens with a contribution by Erik Jones, Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute (EUI).
