We never pay for advertising or social media campaigns and rarely attend fairs, so knowing where our customers come from is vital. Analysing the past academic cycle and seeing that recommendations remain the key source of new customers is heartening, and I am proud of our content-rich website, which performs well in searches! I never won any debate competition! In my 2nd year of college, I joined the debating society. I had initially joined in my 1st year but left because of my fear of presenting my opinions in front of audience. However, in my 2nd year, after gathering courage, I decided to take part again. Although I never won any debate competitions—neither intra-college nor inter-college—seeing my juniors win so many competitions initially made me doubt myself. But then I realized that winning wasn’t the only measure of success. Here’s what I gained from my debating experience: 1. Overcoming Fear of Public Speaking: By participating in many competitions, I was able to remove my fear of public speaking. 2. Daily News Reading Habit: To debate effectively, staying updated with current events is crucial. This developed my habit of reading news daily. 3. Group Discussion Skills: The skills I acquired significantly helped me during group discussions in various company selection processes. I am proud of myself for getting a second chance to face my fears and for not giving up. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone was one of the best decisions I made #linkedIn #overcomingfear #publicspeaking
