It was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge but also to mention some innovative non-traditional ways of communicating scientific facts with different age groups. In addition to several games based on scientific facts, comics, children's books, hackathons, student competitions, green walks, etc., were also presented.

🎉 Last week, UNP+ and NetworkNature EU teamed up at The Nature of Cities Festival🌱
Our workshop, "Crafty and Creative Communication," was a powerhouse of engagement and learning. Participants dove deep into non-traditional and multimedia forms of communication and explored how to enhance public engagement and drive inclusive and enthusiastic socio-ecological transformation 🌍✨ From #NbScomics and #bioeconomy children's books to games, we explored it all!

🌼Effective science communication is trustworthy, aesthetically appealing, and relatable to your audience.
Next Steps:
🌼NetworkNature will integrate learnings and examples into the coming communication toolkit for local and regional governments.
🌼UNP+ cities will apply the #NetworkNature toolkit when creating their local communication plans, a key part of the #UrbanNaturePlan development process.
