This past month, Ashleigh Basel and Marcelino Plaza, came out to represent Trinity | Cerami – Longman Lindsey at this year's Relay For Life of Northport walk held by the American Cancer Society. This is an annual event that has been running for more than decade where the community bond together to support and celebrate the cancer survivors and caregivers all around the world. This year, our team successfully raised over $5,000! The funds raised will help sustain cancer research, patient support, and advocacy efforts to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Thank you to everyone who participated! #BuiltEnvironment #RelayforLife #AmericanCancerSociety #fundraising

"Obviously, The Kids' Cancer Project, our focus is on childhood cancer research. So, with three families hearing the words, your child has cancer every day, and tragically three Aussie kids dying from cancer every week, it's important for us to be able to raise funds to change those statistics." Owen Finegan sat down with Digital Nation Australia to discuss its work with SAS in helping boosting #fundraising targets for the independent charity. Breast cancer awareness hits home for me in a profound way. As a 25-year-old, I watched my mother’s life be taken by breast cancer in just three short months. It was a devastating reminder of how aggressive this disease can be if not detected early. Breast cancer is highly survivable when caught in time, and that's why awareness, early detection, and regular screenings are so important. 💗 I stand with the incredible survivors, advocates, and those still fighting this battle. Let's keep spreading the word and making a difference. Regular Mammograms: Mammograms are the most effective screening tool for early detection. Women aged 40 and above, or those with higher risk factors, should follow their healthcare provider’s recommendations for regular screenings. Self-Exams: Performing monthly breast self-exams allows you to become familiar with your body. This helps you notice any unusual changes, like lumps, swelling, or shifts in size or shape, that should be reported to a doctor. Above all, advocating for yourself is crucial. If something feels off, trust your instincts and push for further evaluation. Early detection saves lives! 💗 #BreastCancerAwareness #SelfAdvocacy #EarlyDetection #HealthTips #MoreThanPink #EarlyDetectionSavesLives #InHonorOfMyMom #SusanGKomen

🏃🏼♀️In just one week, I'll be hitting the Mallorca trails for a cause close to my heart: cancer research. As I gear up for the trail marathon, I'm reminded of the importance of both planning and strategy – not just in athletics, but in life and business too. Just as every step counts in training, every detail matters in our plans and strategies. 📝 Whether it's drafting a business proposal or preparing for a marathon, having a solid plan in place can make all the difference. It's about setting clear goals, mapping out the path to reach them, and staying adaptable along the way. 🙌 With the race just around the corner, there's still time to show your support and make a difference. Let's come together and make an impact in the fight against cancer. 🎗️ If you'd like to contribute to this important cause, you can donate directly in the link. Thank you for your support – together, we can make a difference! #CancerResearch #Fundraiser #Planning #Strategy #RaceDay

Good morning Linkedin! I haven't posted in a while, but I was a late inclusion in the Tour de Cure SA Discovery Tour this year. Raising vital funds for Cancer research projects and more study into the causes and treatment of cancer, as well as providing programs to improve the day-to-day life of people affected by cancer, we can work towards a cancer-free future. I have only had access to the fundraising for a week and a half now and I'm almost half way toward my goal of $3,000. I personally have had to pay $750 to cover my accommodation, and taking 3 days away from my business to participate riding 400+ kilometers through the Fleurieu Peninsula (so it won't all be bad, as the scenery and company will be amazing!) What would be amazing, is if even half of my linkedin network could forgo a takeaway coffee and contribute toward this great cause I will easily hit or exceed my target helping to fund projects that have led to 150 major cancer research breakthroughs, increasing our understanding of the causes of cancer, finding new treatments, and improving diagnosis rates. https://lnkd.in/gyKzPAAw
