Our Principal Lesley Aron Schmerzler AIA at the The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2024 Tennessee Conference! The theme of this year’s conference was “Grounding.” Through this motif, the event aimed to explore both architecture’s physical relationship to material flows and resources within ecological systems, as well as architecture’s intangible relationship to history, memory, and lesser-acknowledged cultural contexts. They are our future, and their voice is critical in creating and shaping the future: a future that they want. #active #citizenship is vital for good planning outcomes, for inclusivity and for our overall well-being. It is critical that we educate our children to understand the importance of a well considere, inclusive built environment, based on good design and ESG principles, directly impacts and correlates to our well-being, and our ability to flourish.
