Founder/Managing Director Yappy Group. Keynote speaker on Leadership, Goal Getting, Motivation, Culture and Vision. Future thinker. Doer! Building epic companies to give back and make an impact.
Last week Yappy Group turned 12 and while it’s impossible to get our entire team together with the US etc in play we had a celebration in our Perth office. I’m so proud of our team, what we’ve built and what we are building. To think this all started from very humble beginnings in a suburban garage is mind blowing. Empowering B2B businesses with transformational growth is such a great thing to wake up to everyday. Just last week we won over $68M in contracts for clients with companies they’ve always dreamed of working with but never could until Yappy. Not bad for a week and takes us well beyond $3B in wins in the last couple of years alone. I’m also incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made through philanthropy but more on that another day. The more we grow the more impact we’ve been able to make. I’d like to take this moment to thank our incredible clients, partners, investors and advisors all of which are allowing us to get to our goals while getting to theirs. Nothing beats a win win 🏆 It’s not often CEOs and Founders stop and reflect and celebrate the wins. I’ve learned so much and grown so much both individually and as a company. To that end… Each week for the next 12 weeks I’m going to share one of my most valuable lessons that have helped us achieve remarkable things. Until then I’m keen to hear how you celebrate the wins in your company? Here’s to the next 12 years. Yappy Days! #ceo #growth #tech

Founder & CEO |"Gifting With Purpose"| 🌱 Corporate Sustainable Gifting | Eco-conscious Solutions for Business Gifts.
Naming with Nostalgia: Why we chose to call our company KAMBAR Starting a business can be a most thrilling and fulfilling experience for those who dare to take risks. The real excitement, however, lies in naming the company. It's a moment when you feel a rollercoaster of emotions, blending excitement with anxiety, pride, and uncertainty. That's what I experienced when we decided to call our company KAMBAR! Why KAMBAR? It's our family name. Naming our company after our family name is a journey of deep emotional resonance, where pride is intertwined with legacy. The thrill I felt when brainstorming ideas cannot be described in words. It was as if I was etching my family’s heritage into the business world, ensuring that the values and hard work of generations are honored. #NationalSiblingDay has us reflecting on the most common question we get asked: "What's it like running a business with your sister?" From shared visions to sisterly disagreements, navigating the entrepreneurial path alongside family brings a unique blend of challenges and rewards. But through it all, we've discovered that the bond of sisterhood adds an extra layer of strength, resilience, and understanding to the business dynamic. “We often joke that if Ariel and I were flying a plane, Ariel would be up in the air with no fuel and no engine, but I’d be on the runway charting the course and looking at the weather,” says Hannah Redmond, MBA. “Together though, it’s the perfect partnership of skills, resulting in successful takeoff, smooth flight, and safe landing.” ✈️ It is more than just a playful analogy; it underscores the dynamic synergy within the sisters’ partnership. Each brings a unique set of strengths and skills to the table, forming a cohesive and complementary team. “Together, we navigate challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and drive our business forward,” says Ariel Redmond. “We see our no-filter communication and working even during family dinners and vacations as a true superpower because it allows us to push our work further no matter where we are, with no sugar coating or delay. Simply put, we're stronger together, and we couldn't imagine this journey without each other.” #sistersinbusiness #womenowned #smallbusiness #sisterbiz

Not winners, but still winning. Why? Top 3 finalist in a national industry award, thank you NDNA and our amazing team. Investing in our team's growth isn't just about winning awards; it's about enhancing our skills, enriching our environment, and fostering a culture of excellence! And celebrating with Satvir, can't be beaten! I don't often think about the fact that we're a female-led franchise business, on our third business venture together. But speaking to many women at the event, and the women who have reached out to me over the years, visibility at events such as this is an opportunity to show that yes, franchising is a realistic option for women who want flexibility in their lives, for mothers who are not only defined by having children, and where your background is not a barrier to success. For myself, a little context: born in North London, my mum from Guyana and my dad from Trinidad, brought up in a CofE household, and three very grown-up children of my own! It's been a long journey to where I am today. It’s incredible being in franchise with Satvir. And now on my franchisor adventure with Marta Díaz at Yolé. One key takeaway from this experience is the importance of perseverance and visibility. Success isn't just about the accolades; it's about the impact we make, the people we inspire, and the communities we uplift. Being part of a supportive network and having role models to look up to can make all the difference in pursuing and achieving your goals ✨️ Here's to inspiring and leading the way for more women in franchising and beyond! #NDNAawards #EarlyYears #NurseryExcellence #ProudFinalists #TeamBananaMoon #WomenInBusiness #FranchiseSuccess #Inspiration
