For Christina Luna, coming to work each day at Knott’s Berry Farm in southern California is an opportunity to make a difference, whether it’s with a colleague who needs a boost or a guest whose happiness meter hasn’t quite peaked yet. “My number one priority is ensuring that I'm providing the support and resources that our associates need to be successful for the day, that our operations are running efficiently and safely, and that our associates and guests are having a fun experience,” said Luna, ride operations manager for Knott’s. It’s that laser focus on her day-to-day job that led to Luna earning a 2024 Cedar Fair Soul Award, given annually to associates who consistently go above and beyond in making people happy and contributing to Cedar Fair’s mission of creating better FUN for a better world. Now in its third year, the Soul Award is the highest achievement presented to associates. “My favorite thing about Christina is that ‘the Farm’ is in her heart. And she just loves what we do for our guests here,” said Jon Storbeck, vice president and general manager at Knott’s. “She loves seeing people grow. She loves challenging the team to provide an even better rides experience than we're providing now. And it all comes out of a place of love for her.” Congratulations Christina! https://lnkd.in/gFRU8HPK
