As leaders, there is a lot we can learn from Simone Biles. She is undeniably the leader of the US women’s Olympic gymnastics team. 1) The importance of recognizing and addressing your limits. Many people tout leaning into your strengths. While that is importance for deciding what roles are most suitable for you to succeed (e.g. Simone chose gymnastics over swimming), once you have selected a role, to become truly excellent, we have to recognize and address what is holding us back. Simone took two years off from gymnastics to work on strengthening her mental fitness and it paid off. 2) How to lift others up. She is the GOAT of gymnastics but instead bowed to a competitor. This can only be done from a place of self-confidence AND humility. #leadership #mentalhealth #olympics

When people ask me about animals and why Indigenous treat them differently than most other people on our Mother Earth - it is simple when you get to witness their divinity. Each animal, like each person has their own set of qualities. Some animals are known engage in life long monogamous relationships. Swans are one of them. Did you see how these Swans related to each other and then started asking yourself whole set of questions? ↪️PAY ATTENTION AND ASK YOURSELF — what was that set of questions? Are they the same type of questiins you ask yourself everytime you face a challenge? When was the last time you challenged your default set of questions you ask yourself daily? ↪️WHY DO I ASK? Because the quality of your questions determines EVERYTHING else for you and how you show up in this world. We need need more people understand on a bone deep level who they are and what they are here to contribute. ↪️Whether you recognize that is being a leader or not, (we can cover that later.)
