Legal Nurse Consultant | Medical-Surgical Nurse | Collaborating with Attorneys Behind the Scenes on Medical-Legal Cases | Medical Malpractice | Personal Injury | Experienced in Plaintiff and Defense
As the first half of the year is winding down, I want to celebrate a win for The Legal Nurse Shop. By the end of this year's second quarter, I will have assisted in various ways with just over 40 cases since the beginning of the year. 📈 I am on the path to more than doubling my caseload compared to 2023! I started my LNC business at the beginning of last year, and getting my foot in the door was challenging. However, this is a testament to what hard work, commitment, and persistence can do! ✅ Newer LNCs, keep pushing forward. Believe in yourself. Force yourself to venture out of your comfort zone. Put the time in. Be consistent. Breaking into this field is difficult, but it IS possible. ➡ This win is not without its many struggles—unanswered emails, fizzled-out opportunities, "no's" from potential clients, a huge learning curve, putting in hours and hours of "non-billable" time, honing my work product from constructive criticism and feedback from other LNCs/attorneys, learning how to run a business, etc. Surround yourself and build relationships with colleagues, other LNCs, other experts, and attorneys who support you and wish to see you succeed. In return, always put your best foot forward for each and every case and client. Be transparent. Share knowledge. I have learned so much from other LNCs/experts and my attorney clients this past year and a half, and I am so grateful. This is only the beginning! Wishing everyone an amazing second half of the year. 👏 Let's do the darn thing! #trialattorney #medicalmalpracticeattorney #personalinjurylawyer #legalnurseconsultant

Juries, Not Politicians: Elevating the Value of the People of Colorado Colorado's spirit is unmatched, with its clean environment, active lifestyle, and vibrant culture. However, the value placed on life in the face of medical negligence or catastrophic accidents is unjustly capped, undermining the suffering of individuals and their families. Our neighboring states recognize the severity of such losses without such restrictive caps. Coloradans For Accountability is here to: —Restore Jury Empowerment: It's time to return the power to our juries, allowing them to make informed decisions on non-economic damages in civil lawsuits, free from pre-set limitations. —Encourage Accountability: Removing damage caps will increase incentives for safer behaviors, reducing incidents of injury and death. Celebrating Independence Day: Reflecting on Freedom and Opportunity As we gather to celebrate the 4th of July, we commemorate the values that have shaped our nation—freedom, independence, and opportunity. For dental practice owners, these principles are deeply intertwined with your professional journeys. Independence in your practice means more than just running a successful business. It’s about having the autonomy to make decisions that best serve your patients and your community. It's about the freedom to innovate and to grow your practice in a way that aligns with your vision. This Independence Day, let's celebrate the opportunities that come with owning a dental practice. The ability to impact lives through quality care, the chance to create a thriving business, and the privilege of contributing to the health and well-being of our communities. As you enjoy the fireworks and festivities, take a moment to reflect on the progress you've made and the goals you’ve set. Remember that just as our nation’s founders paved the way for future generations, your efforts today build a legacy for the future of your practice and your profession. Wishing everyone a safe and joyous 4th of July! #IndependenceDay #4thOfJuly #DentalPractice #FinancialFreedom #CommunityCare #Celebrate Cecil Staton Dental-Specific Financial Advisor Arch Financial Planning
