Today marks the one-year anniversary of the ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially launched our state-of-the-art Technical Training Center, adjoined to our Center of Excellence for gas furnace manufacturing. Over the past year, we have made significant advancements, including over 12,000 training hours earned by technicians, the installation of the first operating Toshiba Carrier U-Series VRF system in the continental United States, and major upgrades to our residential ducted equipment, with several new furnace models featuring InteliSense™ technology. We have also introduced multiple R-454B pieces of equipment and continue to incorporate cutting-edge digital tools to enhance the connected technician experience. These milestones reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in the HVAC industry. #CarrierInnovation

1moIf only there was money and time to figure out how to send techs that are next door to training room to training on stuff we work on everyday. So some newer guys have knowledge in front of customers and refreshers for some of us that have experinace on chillers, vrf etc…. Seems like we can’t figure out how to get pos for tools without a penny pincher trying to bid it out but we can have a training facility. Instead most classes at carrier are geared toward salesman that don’t know the basic cycle but not toward your techs who make the money and drive your business. Customers will only go where they have a tech they like.
