Finding the right contractor can be difficult. Why choose Carlton Construction? We are experienced construction managers who seek to understand what an owner wants, anticipate their needs, and ultimately exceed their expectations. We prioritize people first as we know that a building is more than four walls and a roof, its a space that should enrich the lives of those that interact with it.

Two things 👇 1️⃣ Construction is misunderstood and underappreciated by the general population which has, no doubt, affected employment and interest in the trades and office roles. Most people simply do not know how rewarding construction can be and its importance to society. 2️⃣ We tend to treat each other like shit. Don’t get me wrong, there are great people out there. But largely there is a culture of “not my scope, not my problem” and general lack of respect and trust for others at all levels of organizations. So what can we do about it? Share your successes, highlight the good things about the industry, be proud of the projects you’ve built. But above all, just be nice to people and expect them to be nice in return. It’s free, simple and an innate desire plus it’s the golden rule! #construction #constructionlife #constructionwork #constructionindustry #constructionsite #constructionmanagement #contractor #subcontractor

“Remediation projects on towers with hundreds of occupied flats might be managed by just one site manager.” ‘Competence’ of construction personnel is mentioned 30 times in the Grenfell report – and rarely in a positive sense. Training systems need an overhaul, and for contractors, that should start with site staff. Site managers come from backgrounds in engineering, trades, or even business management – and major skill gaps result Most critically, builders need to stop paying lip-service to quality – move on from viewing it simply as an accessory to the build process and start thinking of it as a core element

5 Things We DON'T Need on a Construction Site: Problem-Focused Mindset: No room for negativity here! One of our core values at @briencontracting is "how can we." With construction, there is always a way. A solutions-focused mindset turns challenges into opportunities, making every persona a hero as we build a success story. Little Communication: Silence isn't golden in construction—it's risky! Clear communication is our foundation. Everyone's voice matters, ensuring a harmonious workflow and on-point project execution. Unsafe Construction Practices: Project safety is our priority! We've got no tolerance for shortcuts. From hard hats to safety glasses, we prioritize a secure environment for our team and the impeccable execution of every project. Bad Attitudes or Ego: Leave your ego at the door! There is always an opportunity to improve. Ego has no place in our construction family—just teamwork, respect, collaboration, and a shared goal of building greatness. Messy Workspace: Construction crew chaos? Not here! A clean construction site is a key ingredient for success. This means we ALL take part in keeping it clean, especially for the next trade on the schedule. We treat our projects with the same respect we treat our homes. We believe the construction process should be collaborative. Your general contractor should be transparent and support you from conception to completion. We’ve worked as an owner’s representative for many clients, so we understand the owner’s perspective and how important it is to get your new build right. That’s why we’re more than a commercial general contractor: we serve as your collaborative construction manager from start to finish. We join you early in the process and support you every step of the way to project completion. This partnership eliminates the confusion and stress of a complicated building process, giving you the peace of mind you need. #mappco #ConstructionCollaboration #TransparentContractor #OwnersPerspective #NewBuild #CommercialConstruction #ConstructionManager #ProjectCompletion #BuildingProcess #PeaceOfMind #CollaborativePartnership
