"The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles. Positive news: good policy, focus, and results matter, and political rhetoric is just flat BS. “Rhetorical appeals are persuasive strategies used in writing and speech to convince an audience. They consist of ethos (credibility), pathos (emotion), and logos (logic), each serving a unique purpose in argumentation”. (writing common.org) Short version: makes you feel good and does nothing. “It’s time to rebuild the U.S. career and technical education system, providing opportunity for Americans to pursue well-paid career paths that don’t require a four-year college degree. This will be a long-term effort, requiring action from both the government and private business to succeed, and can include everything from labor-business partnerships to apprenticeship programs”. (Alliance for Amercian Manufacturing, 2024) 

I stumbled across my original cover letter from 15 March 2017 when I first applied to Elsby 🗓 ✨ It read: "Elsby attracts me because of the smaller nature of the firm with large ambitions and the support and emphasis given to employees to become all-rounded individuals.
