Skills Development Scotland conducted a survey of more than 2,500 employers to gather their perspectives on Modern Apprenticeships and the advantages they bring to their businesses. The survey findings indicate that a significant number of employers continue to invest in Modern Apprenticeships and as a result, are reaping the rewards. Out of the 2,500 employers surveyed, an impressive 75% believe that Modern Apprentices increase productivity within their workplaces! Every day, we witness the dedication and hard work of ambitious learners who are determined to earn their qualifications and kickstart successful careers. Therefore, it’s great to see employers acknowledging and valuing the substantial impact that Modern Apprentices make - an invaluable asset to any team! 🤔 Best Sixth Form in the UK? 2021: 55 Oxbridge Offers 2022: 85 Oxbridge Offers ❌ However, most sixth forms in the UK do not advocate for apprenticeships which is a shame - not only limiting opportunities for young individuals but deterring growth of the economy and widening the skills gap. 📈 The question is when will we see statistics being shown for the number of apprenticeship offers secured by college students? Or do we still view apprenticeships to be an inferior pathway to university? ⏳This change will take time as many don’t understand the advantages of a degree apprenticeship. Many are narrow minded or still hold ancient myths/stereotypes about apprenticeships. Comment below your thoughts ⬇️

The Group are pleased to announce that we will be offering apprenticeships to four individuals in the central belt this year. Three bricklaying apprentices. One Roughcasting apprentice. This intake will take or total apprentices in to double figures.
