👋🏻 Introducing Matt Rooney, Zund's Midwest Graphics and Packaging Regional Sales Manager. Since joining us in April 2016, Matt's dedication to our products has only deepened. Not just a colleague but a mentor, Matt embodies Zund's commitment to excellence. We appreciate Matt's stellar contributions. Your efforts are truly appreciated, Matt! Explore Matt's interests beyond Zund below. Q: If you could master any musical instrument, which one would you choose and why? A: The guitar. I’ve always been fascinated with the guitar but after buying a few and doing some lessons I just can’t seem to get it. Maybe someday when there is more free time, but I applaud everyone out there that is even remotely good at playing it. Q: What's your favorite season of the year and why? A: Summer, no question. Living in the Midwest offers a nice change of seasons, but nothing is better than summer in this area (and I can attest having lived in other States along the way). Q: What's the most memorable vacation you've ever taken and what made it special? A: I’ve traveled to many countries and locations, but one of my favorite trips was when my wife and I took 10 days to drive around Germany (pre-kids of course!). We saw many beautiful and interesting sites, stayed in large cities and very small towns, and of course did two nights at Oktoberfest. I sure hope to go back to 🍻 Oktoberfest again – a pure blast! Q: What's your favorite board game or card game to play with friends and family? A: Monopoly has always been a favorite with the family. After figuring out how to play a “fast” version of the game (no more 2-3 hour events) we’ve had a lot of laughs playing this game. Q: What's your favorite outdoor activity or hobby? A: Anything to do with boats ⛵. Living in IL is probably a poor choice for someone that would rather “live on the water” but I’ve been a boater for 25+ years now and enjoyed every moment I can be out there. Retiring on a boat is a goal and I think I have my wife talked into it, for part of the year anyway! #meetzund #employeespotlight #zundcutter

In celebration of my 6-year journey with Amador Club / Wingtip, I'm taking a moment on the 6 days leading up to my anniversary on June 6th to reflect on some cherished projects and aspects of my role. For the first post, I want to kick things off by shining a spotlight on the team. Personally, there's nothing more fulfilling to me than making people feel seen and celebrated, which is why this aspect of my job holds a special place in my heart. Here's how we make it happen: 🖥️ TEAM PAGE: Our website features a dedicated page that showcases every member of our team. I'll never forget the gratitude expressed by someone who reached out via our inquiry form, expressing how much they valued seeing everyone, from front of house to the back of house. Every member of the team helps make this organization run and deserves to be recognized and celebrated. 📱 #WEAREWINGTIP: Through social media posts and newsletter write-ups, we highlight our team members and the things that make them unique. The focus is more on who they are as people instead of their resume. Here you might find their go-to karaoke song or a story on their most memorable meals. Because as we know and acknowledge, we are more than our jobs. ✏️ HANDWRITTEN NOTES: The power of a handwritten note remains unparalleled. While some may dismiss it as cheesy, there's immense value in the simple act of acknowledging someone's birthday or expressing gratitude for their contributions. It's these small gestures that can truly brighten someone's day and foster a sense of belonging within our team. As I look back on these moments, I'm reminded of the incredible bonds that unite us. Stay tuned for more reflections as I continue this countdown to my anniversary! #workanniversary #culture #team

One of the (many) joys of working for neuco is that we get to travel. Today I’m back in a much warmer England having been in Germany 🇩🇪 with Henry J.. I was reminded of the importance of a handshake, being in person over zoom or Teams calls and that nothing replaces sharing a drink or meal, especially in our industry. It's something that neuco global executive search really works hard to make sure we get to see people face to face. Interested in joining us? Contact myself, Tom Wilding or William Trenchard to find out more! #neuco #internationalbusiness #contentandmedia

"LORDCOnes" This morning, I received an email sent to all employees at Lordco's Head Office about an activity tagged as a "Brain Break," where we will customize traffic cones for the upcoming fair at the PNE. The sender initially framed it as a simple call for help with the project, emphasizing the need for participation in customizing the traffic cones, but from my perspective, this activity offers much more than just completing a task. It’s a creative and engaging way to involve employees in enhancing the company’s brand visibility by allowing us to personalize the cones with stickers. This seemingly simple action of randomly placing stickers transforms the cones into unique representations of our brand, contributing to a memorable presence at the upcoming fair. Moreover, it serves as a refreshing "brain break," providing us with a welcome distraction from our usual office tasks, fostering team spirit, and encouraging creativity. As a new employee at Lordco, I look forward to more activities like this that have an impact on shaping the company culture. Here's one of the 100 cones that will be deployed: #lordcoautoparts #lordco Lordco Auto Parts

Sometimes it is healthy to view a companies values through the eyes of the next generation. This is exactly what Ethan Harris, university student and member of the Voco team has identified in the below article!
Ethan Harris is Voco’s newest and youngest team member. Well, kind of! He’s actually still at university doing a full-time marketing and management degree, but for the past few months he's been spending time with different teams at Voco to get an understanding of what working with real clients in the real world feels like. He’s written this awesome article about his experience of working at Voco so far, and what’s surprised him the most. It’s really cool and refreshing to read about our business, our people, and the way we do things from the perspective of somebody starting out in their career. Have a read, it’s really refreshing - https://lnkd.in/gJ7qY4UW

Time to change my linkedIn profile photo after 9 years. 👇 Oui, another long and boring LinkedIn post. Just trying to hit that algorithm. 😏 2015 vs 2024 Paris vs London Late nights vs Early bird No direction vs Clear path Jambon beurre vs Fish and Chips* ▶ Is London superior to Paris? ▶ Are those long unforgettable late nights preferable than our today's peaceful jazzy early bird moments ☕ ? - shoutout to all my parents. ▶ Is a clear direction better than wandering paths? 🤔 I don't have all the answers, but what I do know is that we’re all humans on different journeys, each built uniquely and heading in various directions. What may seem insignificant to one person could mean everything to another. That’s worth respecting. As I step into my new role at Conga, I have been reflecting on the changes and the constants. Just one week and I can already sense the promising journey ahead. I embrace my successes and Failures, what would I have been without you ? 🥲 *The Fish and Chips/Jambon Beurre battle was OBVIOUSLY a joke. Don't make me send you a Jambon Beurre from the 18th arrondissement of Paris to your address just to convince you. #NewChapter #TheRevenueCompany
