I’ve been thinking about things that just don’t make sense. - Asking for a tip when no one was involved or you picked up the food yourself. - Not taking credit/debit cards in 2024. - Mandating ppl come to the office to do work they do and have done at home. - Emailing a receipt and then asking for it when you leave the store. - This might only be specific to my area. Charging for bags and the company keeping the money. Because the politicians couldn’t sort out what to do with the money. - Stores offering plastic bags for sale to replace using plastic bags. - Celebrities flying private to talk about climate change. - Monopolies are illegal unless it’s a cable or electric company. - When you call a company and they are like do you have your account number. No, don’t you have it. What would you add?

Finally, a breath of fresh air for our wallets with today’s fuel price drop of R1.14 per litre. It’s not every day we get to share good news about fuel costs, especially for those of us with small businesses where every cent counts. This drop could open up new possibilities for reallocating our budgets. I would advise using the savings from lower fuel costs to improve your delivery services or even explore new markets.
