Today marks the first day of the presidential election scam in #russia. Ukrainian intelligence forces are urging Ukrainian citizens residing in the occupied territories to refrain from visiting the polling sites due to two main reasons: ❌ The elections are deemed to be fraudulent. 🛑 There is a significant security risk associated with attending the voting sites, as Navalny's Combat Units have issued warnings about potential terrorist acts. ⁉ In contrast, Navalnaya and her team urge all russian voters to participate actively in the electoral process by voting against #putin. They believe that a large turnout could signal widespread discontent and serve as a powerful form of protest against putin's regime. While it is clear who the winner is, regardless of all internal activities, I am eager to know how the #russiandiaspora votes. According to the The Associated Press, there are approximately 1.9 million eligible russian voters residing abroad. Finally, regarding the “revolution” that started in #Belgorod region. The upcoming presidential elections in Chad on May 6, 2024, have been marked by significant protests and opposition concerns. Demonstrations have erupted over perceived electoral unfairness, following the violent suppression of pro-democracy rallies and the assassination of prominent opposition figures such as Yaya Dillo Djérou. These events underscore the broader regional dynamics of political instability and international relations, with implications for security and governance in the Sahel region. In October 2023, Mahamat Déby extended the transition period and declared his eligibility for election, despite prior statements suggesting otherwise. Clashes ensued in N'Djamena after alleged attacks by supporters of the opposition Socialist Party without Borders (PSF) on government institutions. Yaya Dillo Djérou, a presidential candidate and Déby's cousin, was killed during a government siege on the PSF headquarters. The electoral system in Chad involves a two-round presidential election, where the President is elected for a five-year term. An absolute majority is required in the first round to avoid a runoff. Key candidates include Mahamat Déby, representing the Patriotic Salvation Movement and serving as the incumbent Transitional President, and Succès Masra, from the Les Transformateurs party and the incumbent Prime Minister of Chad. The upcoming presidential elections in Chad are closely monitored by the international community, particularly Western countries like France and the United States, due to Chad's critical role in regional stability and counterterrorism efforts in the Sahel region.
