So this company has me blocked from making comments! 1099 companies are terrible for healthcare! They do not offer their independent contractors the benefits they deserve. They deliberately misclassify these people as contractors instead of workers, just to avoid paying payroll taxes and the costs of benefits. The Labor Dept is cracking down on these companies and many facilities are being sued and viewed to be the real employer, thus requiring them to pay the back payroll taxes and benefits for these workers. In addition, if there are problems with employee performance, there is not much of an office staff to address those issues. Their credentialling processes are poor because they are not healthcare professionals who really care. When these workers have pay issues, they go through so much stress to get paid what they are due. There are SO many reasons to avoid hiring 1099 agencies! Google this matter and read the facts!
Shout out to our Implementation Manager, Kristen He who just celebrated her three-year anniversary with MyShyft. Kristen has been an integral part in growing MyShyft into the company we have become. Thank you Kristen for your hard work and dedication, and the genuine partnership you bring to our facility clients. 🩵

🎉 Celebrating BERNICE NYAMBURA: Happy Birthday, Bernice! 🎂 In every great story, there's often an unsung hero working behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly. In our office at Purrple Orryx Events, that hero is Bernice, our Administrative Manager. Picture this: A bustling office, multiple departments, countless tasks, and a myriad of stakeholders. It's a recipe for chaos, right? Wrong. Because we have Bernice. Today, as we celebrate Bernice's birthday, it struck me: Without her, our entire office would likely fall apart. She's not just an employee; she's the invisible force that keeps our professional world spinning on its axis. To Bernice: Happy Birthday! 🎈 Your dedication, skills, and unwavering support don't just make our jobs easier - they make our success possible. We're not just thankful; we're in awe of you every single day. Here's to you, Bernice. We're proud to celebrate the amazing individuals who make Uniplural a success. We're shining a spotlight on Angie Decesare, our Operations Executive. 1. What is your role and how long have you been working at Uniplural Group? I work as the Operations Executive for Services and Hospitality and I've been working here for the past 9 months. 2. What do you enjoy the most about your role? There are several things that I enjoy in this role, meeting different people, different challenges and most of all the finishing product after our service (the before & after result 😊 ) 3. What strength do you feel like you bring into your role? I believe that my determination, never giving up mentality and past experiences in other industries help me a lot in making decisions and keeping up with the daily running of the sectors. 4. How would you describe yourself in just three words? Determined, team player and proactive. 5. What are your hobbies during your free time? Besides having some good quality time with my family, outdoor activities with my daughter, long walks with my very energetic dog 😊 and a nice action movie are the things that I look for during my free time. 6. What’s something that you’ve always wished to do / What is something you are looking forward to? Travelling and visiting different countries was always one of the things that I loved to do. Meeting different people and experiencing different cultures has always intrigued me, but since I have a dog, now my wish list is to travel by car to different countries together with my family and of course my 4 legged family member.

Lucky 7! I'm probably due for a post, so here's 7 things that have made me feel pretty lucky in the last 7 years... 1. Invaluable exposure. I have a front-row seat to watch business leaders of all ages and maturity levels as they approach the same question: how can we solve this business problem with software? 2. Having chances to learn from mistakes. I am not the same professional I was 7 years ago! 3. Having advocates in leadership that have mentored me to a seat at the leadership table. 4. Getting to spend a lot of time at the Denver office! Shoutout to Catalyst. 5. The financial stability and work-life balance to have creative hobbies. 6. Finding a passion in age-tech and being supported by ForytAU to organize a pitch competition. 7. Having a license to build my network. I've made some great friends along the way. Once upon a time, a dear friend, who was much older and smarter, said to a much younger me, who was lamenting the difficulties of adulting: "you have the hardware, you just need the software!" Isn't the universe cheeky?
Caroline McGowan has had quite the career since studying Philosophy at Portland State University and probably never dreamt she'd be leading the charge for our sales team! Caroline is often the first face that people see when they get introduced to FortyAU. She has transformed into a strategic thinker with a bright smile, she dives into difficult problems with both empathy and tenacity. A talented artist, she puts her creativity to work for her clients and always working to get them the best deal possible. Thank you for all your hard work and congratulations on your work anniversary! 🎉
