One of my professional goals is humanizing the work. I believe that influencing leadership styles and decision-making processes are key to this, since these two factors set the direction for the organization. This is equally true when it comes to building an ethics and compliance culture. Helping companies to actively shape their organizational culture is one of my favorite type of projects. The influence that an organizational culture has on innovation, employee retention and business results can hardly be underestimated - which is why I believe there is a lot of untapped potential in this area. Especially when it's specifically about compliance or risk culture, as in the article below, which I wrote together with my colleague Sabine Clappaert.
