Something we wrote that remains relevant: Daily news of attacks against politicians, religious individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals—or rather, HUMANS—highlight ongoing issues.  Can Dündar (Turkey) and @Anabel Hernández (Mexico) already emphasized this during the premiere of the Deutsche Welle series "The Guardians of the Truth." and many others did on as many occasions. They pointed out that conflicts often begin when "autocrats" make decisions driven by calculation or pure profiteering, disregarding the repercussions on civil society.  We would add that when "isms" infiltrate decisions, these decisions erode the values our community stands for, from freedom of expression to the right to physical integrity. Conversely, positive change starts with the awareness fostered by a well-thought-out decision-making process. Dear London Community, Our city, known for its diversity and inclusivity, is facing a troubling rise in incidents targeting minorities. This goes against our core values and must be addressed. Recent data from the Mayor of London’s Office for Policing and Crime shows a significant increase in hate crimes. The UK Home Office reports a similar national trend. This alarming rise demands our collective response. This issue has hit close to home for me. Someone very dear to me, who is East Asian and part of the LGBTQ+ Community, has been targeted multiple times in 1 week, highlighting the urgent need for action to protect our multi-cultural community and all minorities. We must stand together against discrimination and hate. London’s strength lies in its diversity, and it is our responsibility to protect and celebrate it. Here’s how we can make a difference: - Support local initiatives like StopHate UK - Engage in dialogues to dispel myths and build understanding. - Advocate for policies that protect minority rights. - Protect victims of hate and stand up for them when you see an issue Let’s reaffirm our commitment to each other and ensure London remains a beacon of hope and unity. POLITICIANS AND MORALITY- Many politicians attend Pride parades. I want to make two main comments: 1. discrimination against LGBTQ should not be tolerated 2. but people of faith, should not attend Pride parades, such as Toronto’s where grown men walk naked, and where mock sex acts, sexual bondage and sado-masochism is on display. The politicians who attend such parades are pandering to LGBTQ for votes and totally abandoning support for common decency. Moreover, on any other day public nakedness would be met with arrest and detention.

The absurdity of Progressivism in full glory: Progressive LGBTQ members and feminists cheering for terror, while encouraging and justifying a massacre of epic proportions, condoning the brutal killing of civilians, many of whom were actually their fellow Progressive brothers and sisters! Some form of self mutilation by praising the perceived ‘underdog’ at all cost? There are maybe a billion islamists, and less than 10M Israelis. Our Western values system is cracking at the seams for permitting this toxicity across Europe and the US. Didn’t learn from WW2. Our Never Again slogans are replaced by mobs hellbent on ensuring it happens again and 10x worse. If these groups fail to understand that Palestinians tie their ilk to pickup trucks and parade them to their death for being gay or feminists, what does that say about our education system? Our values as a society?

The 1043 persons repeat multiple human rights violations and abuses embedded in them. The report highlights the nature and number of cases, persons involved, the nature and number of human rights violations as well as leading perpetrators. The nature of rights abuses include freedom from torture, inhuman and degrading treatment, rights to property, right to liberty among others. In the eyes of one observer, the passing of the AHA and the subsequent court decision acted as a licence for some individuals to attack and violate the rights of LGBTQ+ persons. Known and/or perceived LGBTQ+ persons were arrested, tortured, beaten, exposed, including evictions and banishments, blackmail, loss of employment, and health service disruptions. This was sustained by frequent fake and false news shared on different platforms and a sustained campaign to paint LGBTQ+ persons as persons who are not only acting against African and religious morals but also as persons but also as persons who are out there to recruit children into homosexuality, destroy society and cause some form of apocalypse in Uganda.
