Being a parent means being your kids' superhero every single day! Here's a list of what you can do to become a superhero to your kids Start the morning off with a quick run around the world, channeling your inner Flash to get the day started with a burst of energy! Take a polar swim with killer whales, just like Aquaman, because who needs coffee when you can dive into icy waters for an adrenaline rush? Cook up a storm for breakfast, channeling Superman's culinary skills to whip up a super-powered meal for your little heroes. Drive your kids to practice in the trusty Batmobile, making sure to stop a crime or two along the way—gotta keep the neighborhood safe! Be the rock the family needs, literally embodying the strength and resilience of the Thing from the Fantastic Four. Most importantly, just being there for your kids through thick and thin, because sometimes the greatest superpower is simply being present for the ones you love.

Is picking up dog poop in your yard on your list of "favorite" things to do? Probably not! Are you ever in that head space of wanting to do something other than what is on your list? Of course, you are; it is human nature not to want to do certain things that need to be done. The easiest way to manage that list is to break down what needs to be done so it is not overwhelming. >> Prioritize the most important things >> Prioritize the things that have the most impact >> Prioritize the things that drive the most value And when it comes to things like picking up the dog poop in the yard or a task like that - accompany that task with something that makes you feel better- like listening to music! Remember, it isn't what we must do; it's what we get to do! I heard this a while back. Sit back and think about that sentence; you realize things like - picking up the dog poop in the yard isn't that bad. And it could be a lot worse.

Have you ever paused to wonder at the simple yet fascinating process of making popcorn? 🍿 It starts with adding butter 🧈 into a hot pan, followed by the kernels, and closing the lid. After a while, most of the kernels pop, transforming into fluffy, delightful POPCORN 🍿. But some kernels remain unpopped, for a bit longer. This doesn’t mean they won’t ever pop. It simply means their time hasn't come yet. This simple kitchen observation holds a profound lesson about life and success. We all have our own unique timelines. Some of us shine early, achieving milestones quickly. Others take a bit more time to reach their full potential. Just like those kernels, we may not all "pop" at the same time, but we all have the capacity to shine. It's all about patience and the right timing. So, if you’re feeling behind or comparing your progress to others, remember the popcorn 🍿. Your moment to shine 💫 will come, just as those last kernels eventually burst into their glorious form. Trust in your unique journey, and keep faith in your potential. Your time is coming. 😊 #Inspiration #LifeLessons #Patience #Timing #PersonalGrowth

This is me as a boy, trapped in a pear tree surrounded by cows expecting more pears than were left on the tree. I love how DALL-E lets you generate memories like this. It’s a strange visual. My family still gets a kick out of this story. For a brief while I was a cow god. I had climbed up this tree and shook every pear down in an effort to feed these cows. They loved every minute of it, and it was fun. But I didn’t think ahead. I ended up trapped by about 20 happy cows looking up at me waiting for the next pear. I didn’t want to alarm anyone, so calling up to the farmhouse for help sounded almost bored. My father came and scattered the herd with a branch so I could get down. My mistake? I just wanted to make the cows happy but I didn’t think ahead. In a similar vein, in the professional world, I think we can sometimes get trapped in a position where we’re “shaking the pear tree” trying to do things for as many people as possible. Before you know it, that’s everyone’s expectation of you. But you’ve expended what you can give. And you’re stuck in that position. It’s good to help people. There’s just a way to do it that isn’t compromising your own position and strategy for the future. Help strategically. Pace it out. Don’t trap yourself in the pear tree. Something to keep in mind. 😉 And no, I’m not calling anyone a cow . 😂

You can work 12 hour days, craft the perfect email, and master the art of a "quick sync." But let’s be real... years from now, nobody will remember those things. What will they remember?
