Demanded by consumers across the globe. And also by the regulators. Owning an anti-odor textile product? Maybe from a big famous US outdoor brand or yoga brand? Then go ahead and look at the label of their technology used. We are extremely proud to wok with the greenest anti-odor tech invented to date. And it is not just about the product innovation itself. When I was a kid, we were bought clothes seasonally, it was an outing in our house to go and buy our new "winter or summer pyjamas" which lasted us until the following year. Being the youngest of 5 👼, I had a readymade wardrobe from my sisters and brothers (yes brothers, it was the 70's!) My favourite t-shirt 👕 had my sister's name on it, and my least favourite outfit was my other sisters' dungarees 👖 which were way too big and had to be turned up what seemed like 1000 times! Over the years it has all changed, fashion has become so cheap and accessible, but to what cost? I am definitely on the journey to change my habits, buying mostly pre-loved these days and making sure as much as possible is passed on to others. This method relies on quickly copying trends and using inexpensive, low-quality materials like synthetic fabrics to offer affordable styles to consumers. The production of these low-cost, trendy items has led to excessive consumption, causing significant harm to the environment, exploiting garment workers, mistreating animals, and ultimately impacting consumers' finances. The fast fashion industry has significant negative impacts: • Environmental Damage: The production of cheap, synthetic fabrics is resource-intensive and generates substantial pollution. The constant cycle of new styles also leads to high levels of textile waste. • Labor Exploitation: Garment workers in fast fashion supply chains often face poor working conditions, low wages, and lack of labor rights. • Animal Welfare: Fast fashion can involve unethical practices affecting animals, such as the use of fur, leather, and wool without humane treatment considerations. • Consumer Impact: While fast fashion offers affordable options, it often results in poor-quality garments that wear out quickly, leading to more frequent purchases and ultimately costing consumers more in the long run. As the fashion industry moves towards sustainability and ethics, it must address these issues by improving production practices, ensuring fair labor conditions, and encouraging more responsible consumption habits among consumers.

The denim revolution is here. ♻ Did you know that over 2 billion pairs of jeans are produced annually worldwide? With the fashion industry facing the growing challenge of apparel waste, innovators are stepping up with new solutions. 🌍 In 2024, the focus is on reducing denim waste. Brands are coming up with new fibre innovations. Calik Denim, for example, is introducing jeans that can biodegrade over 99% in just 210 days. The Turkish brand is using plant-based technology to create biodegradable stretch denim. Other brands, like Italy-based Jacob Cohën, are developing compostable jeans.
