Did you know that the work of California’s approximately 1.6 million undocumented immigrants creates an additional 1.25 million jobs for other workers in the state? Join us on Feb. 22 for the opportunity to separate more myths from the reality of the lives of undocumented immigrants in California and their economic contribution to our region and state. The half-day conference from our Center for Economics of Social Issues (CESI) aims to bring attention to the moral and economic necessity of helping the integration of immigrants into Californian society. A keynote panel of immigration experts will share their perspectives on how to bring attention to the needs of undocumented immigrants in the state. CESI’s executive director, Jamshid Damooei, will also release his 2023 study, which defines the socioeconomic profile and economic impacts of California’s undocumented immigrants. https://bit.ly/3utxHCt

Will the results of this "2023 study, which defines the socioeconomic profile and economic impacts of California’s undocumented immigrants" also be posted? I know this is a touchy subject on both sides, but the economic impact to taxpayers and the state of California cannot be good. We provide "amenties" to illegals that many veterans and citizens are not afforded. There needs to be more of a balance.

Illegal aliens should not be in the United States, period!!! 5% of illegal immigrants are involved in farming our crops, the other 95% are a huge drag on our economy!!!!!! They commit crimes, etc!!!! Many documented cases of that in this state!!!!!
